シャフトドライブ4WD、アジャスタブルタイプのモノショックダンパーを装備した前後ダブルウィッシュボーンサスペンションなど主要メカはそのままに、前後のドライブシャフトやプロペラシャフトは、信頼性の高いドッグボーンタイプに変更。
オイルダンパーも現在主流のダイヤフラムタイプとしました。また、ESCを搭載しているため、リヤのアルミヒートシンクは本来必要ではありませんが、ホットショットのリヤビューのポイントともなっているこのパーツはダミーとして装備しました。
完成シャーシにはRCメカを搭載済み、さらに、クルマの操縦に適したホイール・トリガータイプの送信機をはじめ、走行用バッテリーや専用充電器も付いて、箱から出してバッテリーを充電すればすぐに走りが可能。
現代の4WDバギーとの走り比べも楽しみです。
