A pedal beater with a sponge head that allows you to obtain a subdued bass drum sound by replacing the beater of your drum pedal.
Compared to the previous model BSQ10S, its width is halved, making it usable with double pedals.
Furthermore, the weight of the beater itself is designed to be the same as the BSQ10S, allowing you to play with the feeling of stepping on a drum pedal with a normal beater attached.
Want to play drums at a lower volume, but constantly playing the bass drum softly is stressful...
This is the SOFT SOUND BEATER, an item that solves such drummer's problems. Its use is simple: just replace the beater of your existing drum pedal.
It is useful in various situations, such as acoustic live performances, playing on small stages, and ensembles in songs that require delicacy.
Of course, it is also recommended for practice sessions using a drum set. The feature of this beater is its beater head. It uses a wavy sponge, the same material used as sound-absorbing material on the walls of soundproof rooms, which is highly effective in reducing the volume of the bass drum.
In addition, the moderate weight provides bounce, and the curved surface of the striking area creates a "natural stepping feel at the moment of hitting the head," achieving an operational feel close to that of a normal beater. This allows for dynamic control and intricate phrasing through pedal operation.
This is an innovative beater that can be used in various ways depending on your ideas, such as for practicing with a drum set or playing in environments where loud noises cannot be made.
