Beast characters, which are the subject of much discussion due to their appearance in anime selection broadcasts and the movie released in the summer of 2023, are re-released in Premium Finish specifications. They will be sequentially released in VS Set BOXes that evoke nostalgia for that era, with color schemes that more closely match the CG animation's main visuals and imagery of rival character confrontations.
As a bonus stage in the BWVS series, the Decepticon Air Commander "Starscream," who transforms into a jet, appears as "Ghost Starscream," the spectral version that appeared in Beast Wars episode 21, in the standard special clear molded color. His opponent is "Waspinator," possessed by "Ghost Starscream," reproduced in dark colors that evoke the possessed state as "Haunted Waspinator." The Decepticon emblem on the head is also reproduced, with a detailed Premium Finish to recreate the image from the anime's main story.
The closed box package includes a reversible inner sheet that evokes the image of the confrontation set boxes from that time, and two character cards are included.
