[Synopsis]
The protagonist, Murasaki Shikibu/Mahiro (Yuriko Yoshitaka), was a woman in the Heian period who wrote "The Tale of Genji," a bestseller that has transcended a thousand years. Driven by her feelings for Fujiwara no Michinaga (Tasuku Emoto) and her hidden passion and extraordinary imagination, she weaves the story of Hikaru Genji, the Shining Prince. This is the story of a woman who lived earnestly with unchanging love in a changing world.
