Combat has evolved into "Siege Battles" where players compete to capture castles, with areas around the castle serving as the battlefield.
You can enjoy a new style of combat that pursues "how to attack a castle" by utilizing various strategies and your own military strength in response to the ever-changing battlefield situation.
The "Political Strategy" where your choices and interactions with officers determine the rise and fall of your faction is also present. Players can experience a variety of lifestyles, such as a ruler, a general, a common soldier, or a recluse.
Interacting with various officers and building relationships will lead to the creation of a stronger nation.
The familiar "Edit Function" from the "Empires" series is also included. You can create your own original edit officer, who will be your avatar, by combining your favorite parts.
Through numerous events unfolded with the Musou officers, your unique "Romance of the Three Kingdoms experience" will be depicted more dramatically.
"Siege Battle"
Combat has evolved from battles where you advance from your base to the enemy's and consider how to defeat the enemy commander, to "Siege Battles" where areas around the castle become the battlefield and players compete to capture the castle.
You can enjoy intense battles aiming to capture the enemy's main camp by utilizing siege weapons and in-battle commands.
"Political Strategy System"
Highly flexible internal affairs are still present in this title.
Players aim to unify the entire continent from various positions such as ruler, an officer, or a recluse, and experience a variety of lifestyles.
Following the faction policies decided at the "Council" held every six months, the player's faction aims to unify the entire continent.
All 94 officers who appeared up to "Shin Sangoku Musou 8" will participate!
All 94 Musou officers who appeared up to "Shin Sangoku Musou 8" will participate.
Four Musou officers (Dong Bai, Yuan Shu, Xiahou Ji, Hua Xiong) who appeared as NPC officers in "Shin Sangoku Musou 8" and became playable via DLC will also appear from the start.
In addition, approximately 700 generic officers can also be controlled.
