25 years have passed since the end of the space war that once seemed eternal.
Through the cooperation of the "Galactic Federation," composed of the three factions – the "United Earth Federation," the "Illuminate," and the "Cybran Nation" – despite repeated conflicts, people walked a path of fragile peace, barely worthy of the name.

However, the assassination of the Galactic Federation Chairman shatters that peace, and discord rings out across the universe.
The member nations deny any involvement in the Chairman's assassination.
