Coupling the first two works of the four-part sci-fi epic series depicting the brave figure of Superman who came to Earth from Krypton and fights evil for humanity. These two works were completed through simultaneous filming, which also contributes to their connection and balance as a series. The first work, directed by Richard Donner, features an excellent first half about a baby who was saved from the doomed planet Krypton and raised by an elderly couple on Earth, growing up as Clark Kent, with the latter half depicting Superman fighting the evil genius Lex Luthor.
