Superfriends, who have steadily continued their activities at their own pace and earned the immense trust of guitar pop and power pop fans, are releasing their first full album for general distribution in their 13th year since formation. This work features newly re-recorded versions of their past hit songs. The recording was handled by Shinya Ogino, who also worked with Homecomings, the mix by Ayumi Suzuki of told, who also works with CHIIO, and the mastering by Kentaro Kimura.
The album contains 13 tracks, with a content worthy of a best-of album, featuring Shiobara's natural melodic sense, his dazzling vocals with a youthful innocence, and a simple yet hook-filled rock ensemble. Good melodies pour out one after another, making it seem as if he can effortlessly create hit songs. The jacket design was handled by Hirochika Machida, who also designs merchandise for Yogee New Waves.

■Superfriends
A three-piece band consisting of Shiobara (vocals/guitar), Maeda (drums), and Tani (bass). Tani is also the bassist for Turntable Films, who have released works on Second Royal and released a new work on onlyindreams, run by Gotch of ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.
Formed in 2005, Superfriends have already been active for 10 years. They have released three independent works and contributed songs to numerous indie pop compilations. Despite their steady but unhurried activities, they have already established a reputation among domestic guitar pop and power pop enthusiasts as a "guaranteed god band." In 2018, they held a two-man event series called "LATEGREATS" in Tokyo and Kyoto, inviting Veranda and myletter as guests. These events, their first self-organized events in six years, were a great success in each location.
