EIGHT is always our "SUPER" hero. The "SUPER EIGHT" debut arena tour is now visualized! Celebrating its 20th anniversary, and with the group name including "SUPER," they have returned stronger. The album "SUPER EIGHT" (to be released on July 31, 2024) embodies the theme "SUPER HERO from the future 1000 years ahead." The tour, "Super Arena Tour 2024 SUPER EIGHT" (read: Super Arena Tour 2024 Super Eight), covered 16 performances across 6 cities nationwide.
The concept of the album, created with the theme "SUPER HERO from the future 1000 years ahead," is reflected in the tour, which combines the dignity of 20 years with the initial impulse of a debut live under the new group name—an unmissable event!
Packed with both new and old hit songs, the final day at Yokohama Arena on October 10, 2024, was captured on video with great anticipation!
The concert opened with a spectacular entrance in bright red costumes, starting with "Kakatte Kōze," and quickly transitioned into the band section early in the live performance. Beginning with "Ansuroposu" provided by Tatsuya Kitani, then "BOY’23" and "Mikansei," the band delivered a raw, energetic performance that still feels like "there's more to come" after 20 years, igniting the entire venue.
In the collaboration with high school students, "Omoidama (Brass Band ver.)," the sparkling, pure, and warm tones painted a youthful page alongside their vocals.
After a stable MC segment, the cool expression and synchronized dance during "Hurricane Baby," composed by Yasukuni Okamura, captivated the audience.
As the energy peaked in the latter half with the band section, the classic song "Chō Katte ni Shiagare" raised the members' excitement to the maximum—leading to an unexpected encore!
The final song "Eighdays," which confidently affirms their 20-year journey, was performed to a chorus of joy and tears from the audience.
The bonus footage includes the usual multi-angle performances of 7 songs, MC digest, behind-the-scenes of the tour, and the double encore "Hitotsu no Uta" from the final Hokkaido performance. Additionally, footage of "ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2024 in HITACHINAKA" is eagerly awaited!
