意のままにアジを操作し続けるために、竿へのベタつきやガイド絡みを防ぐ、硬質でハリのあるナイロンを採用。
捕る為にはヤエンがイカに到達することが必須条件。途中で停まる。到達までに時間が掛かってしまえば逃げられる可能性は高くなってしまう。ラインのスベリ性が高ければ回避できるが、ヤエン釣りでは切っても切れないのが藻の存在。藻に接触するのは当たり前で、スレによりそのスベリ性は低下してしまう。しかし、サンライン独自の大気圧プラズマ処理技術「P-Ion」により付与した高スベリ特性は過酷な状況下であっても、その特性を持続することが可能。
ヤエンを投入するタイミングで必要なのはイカまでの距離と角度。それを把握しやすい10m×3色の1サイクル30mパターン。 発色性の高い色目で状況を問わず視認性が良好。
