The Smooth Surface Processing (SSP) gives the line a surface unlike previous 8-braid lines, making it feel like monofilament and allowing for stress-free line release.
You can feel a smooth "pull-through" whether using an outer guide or an interline rod.
Normally, the farther you cast, the larger the surface area becomes, increasing water resistance and making line management difficult. Consequently, you couldn't transmit 100% of the rod's jerking motion to the lure. However, with "SSP," the speed of cutting through water improves, and the transmission power increases, resulting in bolder lure darts.
Additionally, the simple and easy-to-understand marking pattern with color rotations every 10 meters allows for "easy" confirmation of casting and drifting distances.
