Three years later, Mamoru Hosoda, the animation director who gained attention for "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time," finally releases his latest work, "Summer Wars."
This work, with character design by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto and screenplay by Satoko Okudera, who also worked on "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time," reunites staff from that film. It tells the story of a boy who, by chance, joins a large family in a rural area and then challenges a crisis that suddenly threatens the world.
