石雲窯(Sekiun kiln)さんの麦藁手煎茶碗(Straw stripe Sencha cup)です。
縦方向に引かれた線が、麦藁が並んでいるようなので、「麦藁手(Straw stripe pattern)」と呼ばれます。柔らかい色合いの乳白色に、赤、緑、青の三色の線で絵付けした、素朴な模様です。
麦藁手(Straw stripe pattern)は、江戸時代後期(1800年頃)から愛知県の瀬戸地方で焼かれた、伝統的な絵柄です。現在も、瀬戸焼や美濃焼で多く見られます。瀬戸や美濃では、太い線と細い線を交互に引く場合が多く、線の色は窯ごとに異なります。
この煎茶碗(Sencha cup)は、縁が少し反り、お茶を飲むのに最適な角度です。轆轤成形で作られ、表面を削り、形を整えます。底の削り跡が美しいです。底のみ釉薬が掛かっておらず、陶土の感触が手になじみます。
京風に解釈された麦藁手(Straw stripe pattern)の細い線と、小さ目の端正な形状が相まって、洗練された雰囲気の煎茶碗です。京都の美意識を感じられる、手作りの器です。
