1925年4月からストコフスキーとフィラデルフィア管が行った、Victorへの電気録音を集めたCD。ドヴォルザーク「新世界」のセッション最終日に録音されたチャイコフスキー「悲愴」第1楽章の中間部を編曲した「アンダンテ」は、どういう理由か(コーダ開始すぐにバイクのクラクションらしき音が入っているせいか?)お蔵入りになったもので、このCDが初出となりました。
