Graduated from Kunitachi College of Music High School, Music Department, and then graduated at the top of the Jazz course at Kunitachi College of Music. Received the Yata-be Award. Studied trumpet under Shun Sasaki, Hiroshi Kamijo, Andre Henry, Akira Okumura, and Eric Miyashiro; piano under Tomoya Okamoto, Kyu Ando, and Kei Kosano; and jazz ensemble under Makoto Ozone. Won numerous classical competitions during high school. Performed a concerto with the affiliated orchestra of his high school.
