Stella McCartney (Stella Nina McCartney, born September 13, 1971) is a British fashion brand created by Stella McCartney. Its characteristic style combines sexy and sharp tailoring with femininity.

She was born in London as the second daughter of Paul McCartney of The Beatles and Linda McCartney.

She started designing at age 12, worked on Christian Lacroix's first couture collection at age 15, and trained at Savile Row.

In 1995, she gained attention with her graduation collection from Central Saint Martins, featuring model Kate Moss, and also benefited from her father Paul McCartney's fame.

In 1997, she was appointed as the creative director of Chloé, succeeding Karl Lagerfeld. At only about 25 years old, she had held her own collections twice and contributed significantly to the brand's growth.

In 2001, with the support of the Gucci Group, she established her own brand, Stella McCartney.

In 2003, she launched her first perfume, 'Stella,' based on a rose scent, and opened a shop in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

Starting in spring 2005, she partnered with Adidas to launch the women's sportswear line 'Adidas by Stella McCartney,' and in the same year, collaborated with H&M to release 'Stella McCartney for H&M.'

Recently, she launched a line of cosmetics called 'Simply Stella' made only from organic materials, and has also designed credit cards in the UK.

In 2013, she was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her achievements in the fashion industry.
