An immense power that shook the universe was left on a Romulan ship 800 years ago. To secure it, Vice Admiral Vance issues the Red Directive to Captain Michael Burnham, who commands the Discovery.
They head to retrieve the relic with the USS Antares, but are overtaken by an unidentified two-person team, sparking a battle over clues that transcend time, space, and dimensions.
New and unique characters appear, and even the original members showcase new 활약!
First Officer Saru leaves the Discovery once again to marry President T'Rina.
Burnham welcomes experienced Lieutenant Reiner as the new first officer. Although Reiner often clashes with Burnham, he gradually deepens his bonds with the crew.
Tilly, now an instructor, returns to the crew, and Calber awakens to a new self through a certain experience.
Burnham and the others pursue Mor and Laak. It is revealed that Mor is the daughter of Book’s mentor, and Book works to find a solution.
Laak, a Breen, faces issues that could ignite a war between the Breen and the United Federation of Planets…
