Suitable for water volumes of 100L or less, and compatible with both freshwater and saltwater.
Uses fine-grained sponge. In addition to physical filtration by the sponge, the fine mesh and large surface area of the sponge make it easy for bacteria to colonize, allowing for biological filtration.
Installation method: (1) Lightly rinse with fresh water before use.
(2) Squeeze the sponge part several times in the aquarium to expel air.
(3) Attach the tube for sending air from the air pump.
Maintenance: Perform maintenance once every 2-3 months.
When performing maintenance, rinse by squeezing in aquarium water or dechlorinated water.
Washing the filter with tap water may kill bacteria due to chlorine.
Caution: An air pump and air tube are required to use this product.
