Following the "Spider-Man" and "The Amazing Spider-Man" series, and "Spider-Man: Homecoming" which joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Japanese release date for "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," which marks the birth of a new Spider-Man, has been set for Friday, March 8, 2019! The story centers on Miles Morales, a boy living in Brooklyn, New York, with an African-American father and a Puerto Rican mother, and depicts a world where Spider-Men from various dimensions exist through innovative visual animation. The music is the latest original score by Daniel Pemberton, the busiest and most talented British composer, who has also worked on "Ocean's 8," "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.," "Steve Jobs," and "King Arthur." A special inclusion of Chris Pine (Peter Parker) singing "Spidey-Bells" (A Hero's Lament) as a bonus track on the Japanese edition has been decided. It has won the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film at the 76th Golden Globe Awards and is nominated for Best Animated Feature Film at the 91st Academy Awards.
