Chubasco is an outdoor sports sandal manufacturer based in Sauayo, Michoacán, in central-western Mexico.
Inspired by the traditional Mexican woven sandals called "Huarache,"
we applied modern materials and techniques to create a new sandal suitable for outdoor activities, based on this design.
Chubasco sandals are loved worldwide for their comfortable fit and high design quality, combining comfort and foot-hugging fit.

TRANQUILO is a handmade model based on the traditional Mexican woven sandal called "Huarache."
It features an upper made from hand-woven Aztec-patterned motifs using recycled tricott nylon, which is attractive.
The nylon fabric, handmade one by one by skilled artisans within Mexico,
provides a soft, snug fit that gently wraps the foot.
Additionally, the pigskin used for the footbed molds to the foot with use, fitting comfortably.

Its lightweight design, which does not tire even after long wear, and excellent quick-drying properties are also attractive.
In spring and summer, it can be worn barefoot for outdoor leisure, and in autumn, it can be combined with socks, making it suitable for year-round wear.
It is popular not only as an outdoor sandal but also as a fashion sandal.
