It was a great success, blending special effects with period drama, featuring a story of good triumphing over evil, and meticulously crafted, dynamic visuals. This popularity led to the production and release of three films in the series within a single year. The transformation of Daimajin from a gentle expression to a furious visage left a strong impression on the children of the time as a figure of terror. Without compromising Daimajin's dignified physique, various poses can be achieved using 17 Revo-joints. The skirt-like drapery is made of soft material to ensure a wide range of motion. The face can be interchanged between the normal "Arakaruma" and the angry "Daimajin." Oodate Samanosuke, who is grabbed by Daimajin, is included. The sword at the waist comes in two types: sheathed and drawn. The chisel, driven into Samanosuke's forehead at his command, can be inserted and removed.
