この商品は、従来品よりより厚みがある厚さ12mmの極厚タイプです。
この吸音硬質フェルトボードはサイズは大350x250x12(mm) または小300x200x12(mm) のポリエステルフェルトで、弾力性もあり特に厚さ12mmと極厚で、菱目打ちやカービング等の防音・防振対策に適しています。
一般的に菱目打ちの場合はハンマー（木槌）で叩くと思います。
この時の吸音と吸振として下に敷くのがこのフェルトボードとなるのですがこれを一番下に敷きその上に低反発ウレタンクッション、その上に大理石、その上に通常の作業版（ゴム板）となるのが効果的なようです。
その他にも色々あるのですが正に拘りの世界ですね。
先ずは色々お試しされても良いと思いますが厚みのあるボードが振動だけでなく吸音効果もある為これだけでも違いを感じて頂けると思います。
菱目打ち、カービング等としての利用以外にも細く切って塗装や研磨にも使用したり、ミシンの内職等の防音防振対策、ガレージの接触緩衝材、ウェーダーの交換用ソールの素材として等、いろいろな用途でご利用いただけます。
