With a newly developed compact ultra-short throw lens and optical module, you can project various video content onto any available wall space, from 22 inches up to a maximum of 80 inches, simply by placing the unit near a wall. You can create a space and time where you can enjoy your favorite activities while discovering new ways to enjoy video and audio.
■ Enjoy a large screen without taking up much space.
Sony's proprietary ultra-short throw lens allows you to project images from 22 inches when placed flush against a wall, up to a maximum of 80 inches by moving it about 28 cm (*) away from the wall. People's shadows are not projected onto the screen, so it does not interfere with daily movement. The compact body size and extremely short projection distance mean you don't need the setup effort or space required by conventional projectors, allowing you to enjoy content with ease. It also features an autofocus function, so you don't need to manually adjust the focus every time you move the projector, saving setup time.
■ Sony's smallest (*) ultra-short throw lens yet, enabling "portability and simple placement."
Based on Sony's proprietary ultra-short throw lens technology used in the 4K ultra-short throw projector LSPX-W1, we have newly developed a compact ultra-short throw lens to achieve a "portable ultra-short throw projector." Optical components that require precise positioning have also been meticulously designed and housed within a small lens unit. Furthermore, to ensure stress-free use when placed, it is equipped with an autofocus function (*) that automatically adjusts the focus simply by placing it near a wall, using a combination of a motorized focus, distance sensor, and acceleration sensor.

■ High-definition and clear images.
Equipped with Sony's proprietary SXRD device, developed for digital cinema projectors and home theater projectors. While previous SXRD projectors used three panels to express full-color images, to achieve a compact projector body, we have newly developed a device that can express all colors with a single panel while maintaining high definition.
■ Achieves vivid and sharp image expression.
Uses a compact laser engine (*) as the light source. Compared to projectors with typical LED light sources, it provides beautiful and vivid images with a wider color gamut. By adopting a high-contrast plate, it cuts even slight light leakage when displaying black, achieving a high contrast ratio of 4000:1. With deep blacks, you can enjoy sharp and well-defined images. It also starts up faster than projectors using conventional lamps as the light source, displaying an image within seconds from standby.
* "Lifespan" is defined as the period until the initial brightness decreases by 50%. However, it is designed to ensure a lifespan of over 5 years with 4 hours of use per day. This may vary depending on customer usage and content being played.
