Using our proprietary developed compact ultra-short-throw lens and optical module, you can project various video contents onto spaces close to the wall, such as wall corners, with sizes ranging from 22 inches to a maximum of 80 inches. While discovering new ways to enjoy images and sound, you can create a space and time where you can spend your preferred way.
■ Enjoy large screens without taking up space
A Sony-exclusive ultra-short-throw lens that can project images up to 80 inches from just about 28 centimeters (*) away from the wall when placed flush against the wall. Since the projected image does not cast shadows of people, it does not interfere with living movement lines. Its small size and very short projection distance mean it does not require the installation effort or space typical of conventional projectors, allowing you to enjoy content casually. Additionally, equipped with an auto-focus function, there is no need to manually adjust focus each time you move the projector, simplifying setup.
■ The smallest (*1) ultra-short-throw lens in Sony history that enables "portable and just place it" functionality
Based on Sony’s proprietary ultra-short-throw lens technology used in the 4K ultra-short-throw projector LSPX-W1, we developed a new compact ultra-short-throw lens to realize a "portable ultra-short-throw projector" size. The optical components requiring precise positioning are meticulously designed and housed in a small lens unit. To ensure stress-free use when placed, it features an auto-focus function (*2) that automatically adjusts focus when placed near a wall, using a combination of an electric focus, distance measurement sensor, and acceleration sensor.

■ High-definition and clear images
Equipped with Sony’s proprietary SXRD device, developed for digital cinema and home theater projectors. While previous SXRD-equipped projectors used three panels to display full-color images, to achieve a smaller projector body, a new device was developed that can express all colors with just one panel, maintaining high resolution.
■ Vivid and high-contrast image expression
Uses a small laser engine as the light source (*). Compared to typical LED light source projectors, it offers a wider color gamut and beautiful, vivid images. By adopting a high-contrast plate, it cuts even the slightest light leakage when displaying black, achieving a high contrast ratio of 4000:1. Because black appears deep, you can enjoy sharp, high-contrast images. Also, it starts up faster than projectors with conventional lamps, allowing images to be displayed in just a few seconds from standby.
* The initial brightness is defined as the period when brightness decreases by 50%, but it is designed to ensure a lifespan of over 5 years with 4 hours of daily use. However, this may vary depending on how the customer uses it and the content played.
