A 5.0-inch large portable monitor that can be connected to an HDMI-compatible camera with an HDMI cable. It features a wide viewing angle 5.0-inch WVGA (800x480) LCD monitor, allowing for precise focus confirmation during video shooting or macro photography, where accurate focusing can be difficult.
Shoot while viewing the live view image away from the camera body, enabling shooting from any position or angle. You can shoot comfortably while looking at the monitor without worrying about the camera's position. It is also convenient for when multiple people want to review photos or videos.
Includes a shoe adapter that can be attached to the camera body. Even when attached to the body, the angle can be changed approximately 90 degrees forward/backward and 180 degrees left/right. A tripod screw is also included, allowing for shooting with the portable monitor attached to a tripod. The included shoe adapter (ISO518 compliant) can also be used with interchangeable-lens digital single-lens cameras from other manufacturers equipped with HDMI terminals and live view functions.
Various monitor settings can be made according to the shooting scene and preference, including brightness, contrast, and hue settings, as well as color peaking and pixel-to-pixel magnification functions.
Supports high-capacity M-type batteries NP-FM500H/QM71D/QM91D (sold separately). Furthermore, it also supports the AC adapter AC-PW10AM (sold separately), making it useful for long shooting sessions such as events.
