The highly anticipated second record release of MarianainourHeads' keyboardist's solo beat tape project! MarianainourHeads' synth and keyboard player, Shun Kagawa, presents his solo project, Solitude2:14am.
Following the debut compilation 'Fading Away,' which was featured on many Lo-Fi Hip Hop YouTube channels and playlists, and whose cassette tapes sold out immediately and records have been long-selling and highly rated, the second beat tape album 'Look Up At The Sky' was released in February 2021. Due to its popularity, the cassette tapes are sold out and difficult to obtain, but a long-awaited vinyl record release has been decided by MilesApart Records!
This work, like the previous one, features beautiful piano melodies influenced by post-classical, electronica, and ambient music, which the artist deeply admires. It is composed of comfortably programmed beats, pleasant sampling sounds, and field recordings of various environmental sounds, creating a nostalgic and emotional Lo-Fi sound beat album. The wonderful tracks, which seamlessly blend into daily life and bring a sense of calm, are perfect not only for indoor listening but also as background music during walks or commutes.
Continuing from the previous work, the artwork features newly drawn illustrations by illustrator Megumu Fujima, which are highly compatible with the music. Mixing and mastering are handled by Koji Takagi of PicturedResort. Includes a download code.

A solo project by Shun Kagawa, based in Osaka and Kyoto, who is the keyboardist for the dream pop band MarianainourHeads and also active as a support member for StillDreams and PicturedResort.
In February 2020, the first album 'Fading Away' was released from MilesApart Records, followed by the second album 'Look Up At The Sky' in February 2021. The cassette tapes, which were selected for many Lo-Fi Hip Hop Beat Tape YouTube channels and playlists, sold out immediately, and the first album's records have been long-selling.
