This mold can be used with materials that cure through chemical changes, including regular air-dried clay, oven-bake clay, silver clay, UV gel, resin, acrylic powder, and urethane foam.
Simply fill the mold with clay or similar materials and remove to easily create cute Halloween parts. Since it transmits ultraviolet light, it can also be used with UV-cured materials.
【Important Notes Regarding This Design Mold】
■ Epoxy → Since it is not a mirror finish, it will appear cloudy after curing and removal. Polishing with an abrasive will make it more transparent.
～ To achieve a more mirror-like finish ～
Spray a release agent onto the mold first, use a two-part mixed resin, and after curing and removing, polish with a soft cloth containing polishing compound. For a better finish, spray the release agent again and wipe lightly to produce a cleaner surface.
■ UV Resin → Since it is not a mirror finish, it will appear cloudy after curing and removal. Applying UV resin or a gloss varnish twice to coat the surface will produce a smooth finish.
Whether polishing is possible depends on the UV resin used.
To eliminate bubbles, poke them with a thin stick or similar tool. If bubbles form, applying resin into the mold's grooves with a stiff brush before pouring the main resin can help reduce bubble formation.
■ Silicone Material → Cannot be used as it will dissolve during curing.
