This is a silicone mold for various resins. By pouring in epoxy resin or UV resin, you can easily create trays for accessory parts.
This design is also compatible with the separately sold "C-594 BOX Type, Medium" in various sizes and can be used in combination.
* When using in combination, we recommend either UV resin with UV resin, 2-part epoxy resin with 2-part epoxy resin, or a combination of "tray base → 2-part epoxy resin, dome → UV resin."
UV resin is prone to shrinkage errors, and if you make the tray base with UV resin and the dome with non-shrinkage 2-part epoxy resin, the sizes may not match properly.
[Notes regarding this design mold]
■ For UV resin → Since it is not a mirror finish, it will be cloudy when removed after curing. You can achieve a beautiful finish by coating the surface with a double coat of UV resin or a glossy varnish. Whether or not abrasive polish can be used depends on the UV resin you are using.
■ For epoxy → Since it is not a mirror finish, it will be cloudy when removed after curing. It will become more transparent by polishing with abrasive polish.
~ To achieve a more mirror-like finish ~
First, spray the mold with release agent spray, use 2-part epoxy resin, and after removing it when cured, polish it with a soft cloth and abrasive polish. Finally, spray again with release agent spray and wipe lightly for a cleaner surface.
■ For resin clay → Cannot be used due to weak strength.
■ For silicone material → Cannot be used as it will stick and become difficult to remove upon curing.
