This is a silicone mold for various resins. By pouring in epoxy resin or UV resin, you can easily create trays for accessory parts.
This design is also compatible with the separately sold "C-586 Dome Mold, Small" in each size, and can be used in combination.* When using in combination, we recommend either UV resin with UV resin, two-part mixed resin with two-part mixed resin, or a combination of "tray → two-part mixed resin, dome → UV resin."UV resin is prone to shrinkage errors, and if you make the tray with UV resin and the dome with non-shrinkage two-part mixed resin, the sizes may not match properly.
[Notes regarding this design mold]■ For UV resin → Since it is not a mirror finish, it will be cloudy when removed after curing. You can achieve a beautiful finish by coating the surface with UV resin or a gloss varnish applied twice. Whether or not abrasive polish can be used depends on the UV resin you are using.
■ For epoxy → Since it is not a mirror finish, it will be cloudy when removed after curing. Polishing with abrasive polish will result in a more transparent finish.~ To achieve a more mirror-like finish ~First, spray the mold with mold release spray, use two-part mixed resin, and after removing it once cured, polish it with a soft cloth and abrasive polish. Finally, spray again with mold release spray and wipe lightly for a cleaner surface.
