The impulse of white, cold fragments, on a journey to melt frozen emotions—
Gerda, the protagonist, lives in a small village.
She lived peacefully, surrounded by her favorite flowers, with her childhood friend Kai, with whom she had spent her life since they were young.
Then, one day—
Kai obtains a mirror said to grant wishes.
Present at the scene were:
Orva, a timid, sickly, and self-deprecating individual.
Claes, an energetic apprentice cook.
Arge, a traveler swordsman with a poor sense of direction.
As they peered into the mirror with half-belief, it suddenly shattered into pieces, engulfing them in light, and they lost consciousness.
Afterward, when Gerda and the others awoke, the shattered mirror fragments had vanished without a trace.
Unsure of what had happened and feeling no unusual changes, Gerda and the others returned home for the day.
However, the next day, changes began to appear in each of their bodies—!
