On hot days, going to the pool is a great idea. The children from Hiyamugi Elementary School are also heading to the pool. Midori-sensei and Pink-sensei are accompanying them. All 30 Hiyamugi children are walking in an orderly line, but some are so happy they wiggle around.
When they arrive at Tsuru Tsuru Pool, it's very crowded with Somen-san, Soba-san, Macaroni-san, and others. "You can only play in the lazy river. Don't go off by yourselves, and don't get tangled up with other noodles," Pink-sensei warns, but the children don't listen at all and are having a blast. Then, when Midori-sensei counts the children, there are only 28. Oh no, two Hiyamugi children are lost! Just then, a teacher from Somen Elementary School brings one Hiyamugi-kun. But there's still one more missing...
