The "Gunship" is a small minnow plug developed for saltwater light game, with rockfish as its main target. It is a shallow-running minnow with a suppressed diving depth. Available in floating and slow sinking models.
The body shape, inspired by small squid, is slightly plump, but the "tentacle" part is integrated with an offset lip. The intentionally large, squid-like eyes and the overall form create a realistic bait appearance.
Features:
* Equipped with high-specific gravity tungsten for internal weights, boasting outstanding casting distance for its size.
* The fixed weight and low center of gravity maximize its recovery power and repetitive motion, achieving a high-response action that covers from ultra-slow to high-speed retrieves.
* Unlike typical small plugs that feel heavy but whose movement is unclear, the "Gunship" provides a very light retrieve resistance. You can clearly feel its light, "kan, kan, kan" body wobble, rather than a "kon, kon, kon" feel.
* The action is a sharp wobbling roll with a wide range of motion.
* To enhance the clear texture, the internal chamber is streamlined, and scale patterns on the body sides have been intentionally omitted. This reflects the meticulous attention paid to clear color variations in the "Gunship" lure.
How to Use:
* After casting, the basic retrieve is drifting or slow retrieve.
* Incorporating stops and pauses during the retrieve to induce floating is also very effective in triggering bites. The idea is to appeal with the lure's action and flashing during retrieve, and create a feeding opportunity during pauses.
* Even when retrieving an unseen lure during night fishing, the "Gunship" transmits its movement, allowing you to detect any changes.
* Use the floating model when there is weak wind and waves, and fish are actively feeding near the surface. When there are moderate winds and waves, and you feel the fish are hitting at a slightly deeper range, switch to the slow sinking model. Differentiating their use allows you to adapt to a wide range of conditions and improve your catch rate.
