The new release from Venezuelan ska-jazz band SkaJazzMessengers is set for its world premiere on Flower Records! SkaJazzMessengers, based in Venezuela, are known to those with keen ears in Japan through collaborations with artists such as Emerson Kitamura, Toru Nishiuchi (ReggaeDiscoRockers, Shintaro Sakamoto), and HAKASE SUN.
Now, their new song is set for its world premiere release on Flower Records! This release features a soulful reggae cover of Tears for Fears' 1985 hit single, "Head Over Heels"!
The iconic intro phrase of the original song is preserved, transitioning into a one-drop reggae rhythm, with soulful vocals that captivate the listener. Side-B includes a hybrid remix by our own Slowly, which can be described as an homage to the 80s.
This remix is a powerful rendition with a thick bassline and a strong beat! Both tracks are perfectly crafted for live performance!
