Product description "In recent times when messages are overflowing, it takes cultivation to continue possessing an inner music. The universe of acoustics, if you think that time and space are infinitely expanding both internally and externally, is nothing but delightful. Discovering music amidst the bustling chaos of sounds in this labyrinth, and marking it, naturally reveals the path. The 'Silencio' path found by explorer Soichiro Suzuki will serve as a valuable guide for those who come after." (Haruomi Hosono) The world-standard quiet masterpiece 'Silencio' is eagerly available on record! Here is music that depicts "the quiet exoticism of light" with sounds like falling snow, gentle tones, and melodious foreign atmospheres. The 2010 album 'Silencio', the last album released from Haruomi Hosono's private label "Daisy World Disc," is his ninth album overall. When it was released, Haruomi Hosono praised it highly, and it is now reissued as an analog record in response to many requests. The core of the work is an homage to Argentine music such as Carlos Aguirre and Rus de Agua. It absorbs various musical styles from Argentina, Brazil~Minas, Portugal~Cabo Verde, and took over two years to produce, creating a sound world that only world standard can produce. For the first time on record, the original master was remastered. The soft tones and deep sound image richly convey the emotions beyond silence. Additionally, Suzuki's 2023 liner notes provide another story of 'Silencio,' describing its current position amid scenes of intense change, showing that this album continues to be loved by many. ■Liner notes (2023 edition): Soichiro Suzuki ■Format: 30cm LP record (Toyo Kasei press) ■Specifications: Single jacket / 1LP / Enclosed leaflet ＜Side A＞ A-1.
