SIGMA TELE CONVERTER is a teleconverter developed exclusively for Sigma lens lines. When mounted between the telephoto lens and the camera body, it extends the focal length by 1.4 times with TC-1401 and by 2 times with TC-2001.

Both use SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass, which is excellent at correcting chromatic aberration. Designed to match the high optical performance of Sigma's 'SGV' lens line, it features an exceptionally luxurious build as a lens accessory.

Additionally, it features a dust- and water-resistant structure suitable for professional use. Despite being compact and lightweight, simply attaching it extends the focal length, enhancing mobility during telephoto shooting, making it a powerful piece of equipment.

Uses SLD glass to pursue high image quality

TC-1401 uses one piece of SLD Special Low Dispersion glass; TC-2001 uses two pieces. Effectively corrects chromatic aberration and achieves excellent optical performance, maintaining the high performance of the master lens. The adoption of super multi-layer coating prevents flare and ghosting.

Compatible with large-aperture lenses

Designed considering lens power arrangement to be used with large-aperture lenses. Provides stable image quality even at the periphery without degrading the performance of the master lens. Also offers abundant peripheral light, ensuring high image quality across all focal lengths.

High dust- and water-resistance structure suitable for professional use

Built to withstand harsh professional shooting conditions, such as shooting in rain or near water, exemplified by products like SIGMA 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Sports.

Autofocus compatible up to F8

Autofocus is only possible when mounted on cameras that support F8 autofocus.

Focusing may not work properly with low-contrast or low-brightness subjects.

All units inspected with Sigma's proprietary MTF measuring device 'A1'

Previously, performance was measured using standard sensor-based MTF measuring devices, but Sigma developed its own MTF measuring device 'A1' using a 46-megapixel FOVEON direct image sensor, capable of detecting high-frequency components previously undetectable. All Sigma TELE CONVERTER TC-1401 and TC-2001 units are inspected with 'A1' before shipment.
