From molds to parts, produced entirely at the Aizu factory

This relaxed on-site collaboration is largely enabled by Sigma's unique vertically integrated production system. Except for some processing, Sigma fully in-house produces lens polishing, plastic parts molding, painting, circuit board assembly, assembly, screw parts manufacturing, and mold making. All interchangeable lenses, cameras, and flashes are also produced at the Aizu factory. Under detailed production planning, the manufacturing line is flexibly reconfigured to support small-lot, multi-product production, making Aizu manufacturing Sigma's greatest asset.
