This product is a set of stands for Buddhist subsidiary images of the Shingon sect.
Compared to traditional hanging scrolls, these can be displayed more neatly, making them recommended for modern and simple Buddhist altars.
Kobo Daishi (right) refers to the founder of the Shingon sect (Kukai) and is enshrined on the upper tier of the Buddhist altar, on the right side as you face it.
Fudo Myoo (left) is a Buddha who serves as an emissary of Dainichi Nyorai and is enshrined on the upper tier of the Buddhist altar, on the left side as you face it.
The "Stand Hanging Scroll Rinne" is a set product consisting of a wooden stand frame + hanging scroll + acrylic for hanging scroll protection.
By using the hanging scroll within the frame, warping and bending, which can easily occur with paper hanging scrolls, are not a concern.
By placing an acrylic plate in front of the hanging scroll for protection, maintenance is easy.
*The acrylic plate comes with a protective sheet. Please peel it off before use.
The stand frame is available in two colors: Wall and Light.
You can choose your preferred color to match the color of your Buddhist altar.
We recommend choosing a color that is close to the color of your Buddhist altar, or one that creates a contrast with it.
The acacia wood used for the Wall color is characterized by its deep hue and is a popular wood often used for furniture and wooden tableware.
The ash wood used for the Light color is characterized by its distinct and beautiful grain and is a precious wood also used for high-end furniture.
