SHIZUKU is a sake vessel made of high-purity tin cast, manufactured using the casting technology of Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, a city with over 400 years of history in metal crafts. Tin is said to improve water preservation and mellow the taste, and has been used for food and drink vessels since ancient times. This is a series of sake vessels that possess both artistic and practical characteristics.
The design of the base is inspired by the process of drips forming stalactites, with the wish that you will savor your favorite sake along with the slow passage of time, just as a limestone cave is formed. Even in today's society where time accelerates at a dizzying pace, nature continues to mark the passage of eternal time. Imagining the process of the 'drips' that form limestone caves over thousands or tens of thousands of years, we have incorporated this into the sake vessel so that you can feel yourself in harmony with nature while drinking.
