【About the Master Series】
The horror series features a first-year university student protagonist "I" who comes from the countryside. Guided by the eccentric senior "Master," who has psychic abilities, and colorful friends, he experiences various urban legends and supernatural phenomena. It is a layered horror story where mysteries lead to more mysteries, culminating in an unexperienced world. Once you step into this world, you can never return to everyday life.
The "Master Series," a horror novel published on 2channel in 2003 and still a topic on the web, has been serialized as a manga in Young King OURS (Shonengahosha) since October 2013, and was published as a book by Futabasha in January 2014. Its unconventional story development that keeps the audience guessing and the mysterious, occultish tricks embedded within continue to fascinate fans, making it a legendary dark fantasy horror that has maintained popularity over ten years, especially online. The fifth volume of the comic was released on March 30, 2017.
