### How to Use* Use after preparing the skin with lotion, emulsion, or a makeup base.* It is recommended to use in combination with a Maquillage makeup base that has UV protection effects.* Take an appropriate amount onto the sponge and spread from the center of the face outward. Finish the forehead, around the eyes, nose, and mouth with the foundation remaining on the sponge.* When using with water, dampen the sponge, squeeze it firmly, and then gently stroke the surface of the foundation.* If the amount used is too small, sufficient UV protection will not be obtained.
**How to set into the case:**1. Hold the handle at the top of the refill container and gently remove the foundation.2. To set, insert the inner tray diagonally and press down on the rim of the tray until it clicks into place.3. To remove the tray from the case, place your fingertip on the rim of the tray and push lightly in the direction of the arrow while lifting it upward.

### Precautions for Use* If the sponge becomes dirty, the surface of the foundation may harden or it may not adhere well to the skin, so please always keep it clean.* When the sponge is dirty, use the separately sold "Shiseido Sponge Cleaner N" or wash it by gently pressing it in a solution of neutral detergent diluted in lukewarm water. Rinse thoroughly so no detergent remains, drain the water, and dry well in the shade before use. If the feel or finish deteriorates, please use the separately sold "Maquillage Sponge Puff (SF)."* Please note that the product may crack due to impact such as dropping.* Do not store in direct sunlight or in places with high temperature and humidity.
