The theme of the album "New World," featuring a jacket work with an impression of a futuristic city with flying ships modeled after whales floating above, is "Nostalgic and new." It combines traditional good melodies and atmospheres inherited from Japan with modern latest arrangements, and further fuses Yuzu's original acoustic sound and melodies full of originality. While feeling somewhat nostalgic, it delivers a new, uniquely Yuzu music = "New World." This work includes hit songs such as the theme song "Ame noch Hareluya" for NHK's serial TV novel "Gochisousan," "Tomodachi ~Tachidachi no Toki~," which became the theme for the 80th NHK All Japan School Music Competition Junior High School Division, the movie theme song "Mamotte Agetai" for "Subete wa Kimi ni Aeta Kara," the theme song and ending theme for the movie "Gekijouban HUNTER×HUNTER -The LAST MISSION-" and the TV anime "HUNTER×HUNTER," "Omote-Ura Ittai," and the tie-up song "Hikare" for Japan Life insurance CM, among many other hit songs. Additionally, it includes the insert song "Yorokobi no Uta" from the Fuji TV serial drama "Boku no Ita Jikan" starring Haruma Miura, starting January 8, the image song "Sugao no Mamade," the theme song "Hidamari" for the movie "Gin no Saji Silver Spoon" opening on March 7, completing a total of 8 luxurious tie-up songs. Furthermore, it contains all 15 tracks, including "Tokorozawa," a famous song from the street performance days that fans have long wished to see recorded. Moreover, "Hidamari" will be aired as a new CM song for Yokohama Tire starting February 1, following its use as a movie theme song, and Yuzu's two members will also appear in this CM. The limited first edition of this album includes a bonus CD with rare recordings "Occhan no Uta" and "Yogiri no Isezaki-machi."
