「すずがみ」は通常の錫の板と違い何回も圧延を繰り返し、熟練の職人がリズムカルに「金槌で叩く」ことにより、曲げ伸ばしによる劣化が少なくなった、折り紙の様に追ったり曲げたりできるアイテムです。「金槌で叩く」技術により生まれた「自分で形づくる楽しみ」が「すずがみ」の楽しみです。「あられ」は、音をたてて降る氷の粒その粒を打ち付けた様な、あられの鎚目。 本製品は錫（Tin）100％の圧延加工品です。 錫は古来より抗菌作用があると云われておりますので、食器としてお使いになれます。 100％の錫は大変柔らかく、手で容易に曲げられますので、お好みの形に変えてご使用することができます。 曲げた後で水平なテーブルの上で、凸凹のない丸い棒状の物（ラップの芯等）で押し転がすと再び元の形に戻すことも可能です。 使い込むことにより色が変化致しますが、素材のもつ特性ですので、変化をお楽しみ下さい。
