In the case of Futen Genten Dokuhaku rod mounts with two pieces, the extension by purchasing after-parts tends to be softer, and when trying to support the rod directly above the rod mount with a vise, the rod may hit the mount and cannot be supported. There is no problem if supported from the side instead of directly above.
The Toushun does not account for gaps in the Inro joint.
