The reel's rotation starts with less force, and control at rest is achieved with minimal effort, enabling smoother operation. Even slight changes in line tension on the rotor are transmitted, improving hand sensitivity.

The newly designed gear with improved durability, Infinity Cross, features expanded contact surface area between drive gear and pinion gear thanks to advances in gear tooth surface design and manufacturing technology. This disperses the load on each tooth, demonstrating outstanding durability.

The drive system, which is the engine part of the reel, employs Infinity Drive, which thoroughly reduces rotational friction resistance. It enables powerful winding even under high load, giving the target fish no advantage.

The all-round model, the 2500 F6 series, is equipped with Rapid Fire Drag, which allows significant change in drag force with slight knob operation, and also features a rigid support drag. The drag force changes greatly with knob rotation, enabling instant response to fish pulls. The drag washer uses Dura Cross, also used in Stella.
