In games that prioritize lightness, the key is whether you can control the start of lure movement, action sharpness, or uniformity of winding at will. The Magnum Light series focuses on this, introducing a lightweight Magnum Light rotor. By thoroughly eliminating waste and reducing inertia, it improves the response of initial winding and stopping, sharpening the angler’s sense and operability.

Low inertia means the reel’s rotation can start with light force and can be controlled precisely with minimal force when stopping. This greatly improves the accuracy of誘い (lure action) using winding and stopping.

The Magnum Light rotor significantly reduces weight compared to rotors made of metal or high-strength resin. The Magnum Light rotor of the 24 Vanford is about 34% lighter than the high-strength resin rotor of the 23 Stradic.
