Spiral X
Overcomes twisting and crushing, fundamentally enhancing rod performance.
Spiral X is a three-layer structure with carbon tape diagonally wound in opposite directions on the inner and outer layers of the rod's longitudinal fibers. The diagonal fibers maintain lightness while achieving high torsional rigidity and crush resistance. Instant power transfer during casting and fighting improves, maintaining lightness and increasing the fundamental strength to catch fish, which is Shimano's unique 'basic structure.'
CI4+
An evolved version of Shimano's proprietary material CI4, reinforced with carbon fiber. It is characterized by being lighter and having higher strength compared to conventional resins.
