Are diving pencils and poppers the only effective topwater lures for SW big game? Can these lures break through all situations? These self-questions were the starting point for developing the Screw Drive 180F/180F FLASH BOOST. The goal was a third type of appeal performance that could not be achieved by diving pencils or poppers. The inspiration for the Screw Drive 180F/180F FLASH BOOST came from prop baits made for targeting large freshwater species like Muskie and Pike. We thoroughly rebuilt the prop bait, which can attract fish from a wide range by the water flow and sound generated by the rotating prop, into a SW specification. The Screw Drive 180F/180F FLASH BOOST is the result of sublimating it into a lure exclusively for SW big game.

The Screw Drive 180F/180F FLASH BOOST is a lure whose basic concept is to generate bubbles and sound by the prop attached to the rear of the body gripping the water and rotating. With a steady retrieve, it has a stable action while making a "poco poco" sound. With short jerks, it can also perform a popping action with a "gobbo" sound. Furthermore, since the weight is at the rear of the body and the prop is always submerged in water, it is characterized by extremely few missed actions even in rough water. Even in sea conditions where poppers and diving pencils would roll on the surface, it tenaciously stays on the surface and continues its action. However, through thorough testing of the body shape and weight balance, we have achieved casting distances that do not cause stress to the angler. It ensures casting distance comparable to diving pencils. Furthermore, the strength is also cleared by the wire that extends through to the prop section.
