NEW FALL lever

Improved operability and winding sensitivity. New shape and new mechanism: NEW FALL lever.

The NEW FALL lever features a new shape with a depression on the top surface for better fit. It allows for instant, delicate adjustments as needed, improving operability, and incorporates a one-way roller bearing inside to maintain ease of winding. It provides a light winding feeling even when fall tension is applied.


High-durability clutch

Shimano's clutch, known for high durability, has been further improved by applying a special surface treatment to the pinion gear for increased durability and salt resistance. The reliability of the clutch is now even stronger. The design philosophy aiming for a truly usable reel is also reflected here.


High corrosion-resistant internal parts
