NEW FALL lever

Improved ease of operation and winding sensitivity. New shape, new mechanism: NEW FALL lever.

The NEW FALL lever adopts a new shape with a depression on the top surface to improve fit. It allows for instant, delicate adjustments as needed, enhancing operability, and incorporates a one-way roller bearing inside to maintain ease of winding. It provides a light winding feel even when fall tension is applied.


High durability clutch

Shimano’s clutch, known for high durability, features a special surface treatment on the pinion gear to further improve durability and salt resistance. The reliability of the clutch is even stronger. The design philosophy aiming for truly usable reels is reflected here.


High corrosion-resistant internal parts
