Not only can you instantly turn the drag ON/OFF, but you can also adjust the drag setting in the waiting state according to the target fish and fishing conditions. When targeting big sea bream with rods left in the holder or targeting flatfish and flounder using live bait, the drag setting in the waiting state is set loosely to give the target fish as little discomfort as possible.
